Just stop with your made up accusations. I have never “hated” on Meyer. I have stated that he needed great coaches to succeed - Mullen running the offense, and Strong running the defense. When he lost those 2 guys in successive years, his program never recovered. Contrast that with Saban, who persevered regardless of losing coordinators and breaking in new ones constantly.

I’ve also stated that Meyer has never built a program from scratch. He has always been opportunistic in selecting his moves. He’s very smart. Florida was loaded with talent when he came in (thank you Ron Zook) and so was Ohio State. I don’t say this to “hate” on him. It all goes to what is a good fit for Meyer and what is not. With all the health issues and quitting and un-quitting and checking out totally in 2010 like a zombie on the sideline while the team fell apart in front of him, and the stress issues which he certainly claimed were real — and then adding 15 years to his age when he first quit…… to me this amounts to significant risk for UF to pursue. This is not “hate”. Can you understand the difference?

If I “hated” Urban Meyer I wouldn’t be consistently arguing that we should induct him into our ROH.

It's sad that we're in this situation and sad that we have to wait and see which coach they decide to hire next, and yet... it's exciting to me in that we can soon open a brand new book... waiting for us to read.
