These guys probably did nothing but work on their resumes in the off-season, it's so obvious that they did everything but prepare our guys to play Fall Football. And as for their leader... gawd what a horrible investment! I know a lot of people don't think that message boards have an impact in the grand scheme of things, but what bothered me the most ever since Napier was hired is that a lot of people on here failed to see, or just flat out tried to ignore, those early signs that he was extremely under-qualified to be coaching this team. On the surface, that's absolutely fine. What we say on here usually has very little impact on what happens on the field. But I start to wonder if the people in charge of making decisions are prone to making those same blind mistakes when it comes to evaluation, at least on a professional level. It could be that over the course of Napiers first 2 years, they disregarded many significant errors of his, and they passed on plenty of opportunities to correct those mistakes as he was making them. 2+ years of that, is pretty much how we got to where we are today.
