In Urban we trust - Lagway would be a BEAST under a coaching staff and scheme that Meyer could develop

Disagree. Yes it was weird how he quit but he also ran himself into the ground at UF - he was a physical and emotional mess when he quit. No doubt he was helped along by Nick Saban knocking him off the top of the mountain.

If you don’t believe this, and really think he just quit on the job, then please tell me why you’d want him back a 2nd time.

Well, Shelly was going to leave him if he didn't leave UF and that Grad Assistant he was sleeping with, that would of broken is heart and back account, so kind of a health reason.

Shelly was the reason he left. And that Grad Assistant that would of broken his heart when Shelly got half his back account...

I truly thought this general knowledge by now.

He did a bunch of years ago. Certainly didn’t win many games coaching the Jags. Too much internal baggage on top of his health concerns. It would be an extremely high-risk hire

He is not my first choice. I also believe he would win again. IDC about a half season in the NFL, irrelevant. At least the team would actually hit someone.

he won at osu. That was not that long ago, five years?

I doubt that he wants to coach again; he would be the perfect hire. He would hold on dj and the recruiting class.

He would win some games with this roster.

He slept with some assistant? Which wealthy man hasn’t done that? Tell him to be discreet next time.

I call BS on this. If Shelley was the entire reason he quit, why would he un-quit and “coach” another year in 2010?

I don't personally. I want Spurrier for the rest of the season, doubt that would ever happen.

The GA signed her NDA and left UF. It's not completely scrubbed from the Internet with the correct Google search. There are people on this board who know the full details. But Health Reasons always was a pretty creative story line. Lawyers are good at Spin.

He might win too quickly Skink. And he’d say what we all know, roster would need to be overhauled. Both D and O lines have to be addressed immediately. All those saying Billy would stockpile great talent…..we are worse now than when he took over and by a lot.

It’s amazing how far we regressed. With Mullen we had 3 excellent years out of 4. Everybody said he left Billy a bad roster. That was a convenient excuse. Billy is leaving some talent and new coaches will help but we are looking at a major overhaul as whoever takes over has 2 times the work that Billy had to do.

Think about AR do a moment and all the bashing he took. I wonder now how many are changing their tune and seeing as many saw it- AR won us extra games in a bad system. Think about it, the only 500 year we had was with Mullen kids and a very talented QB. That talented QB played in a bad system. I just remember so many taking shots at AR that were not deserved. AR knew and thought what I and so many others felt three years ago. Big statement when he said he would have transferred before coming back before his senior year. Kid was a great Gator and deserved better.

Urban in a wheel chair, blind, deaf and running at 25% is twice as good of a coach as BN at 200%.
