Agree. The rule does say that anytime the player lowers his helmet and makes contact it's targeting, but there was no launching and no intent to hurt. Ridiculous call, IMO.

Kinda like reaching over and picking up the remote…..it’s a process. Then hitting the power button to turn this garbage off……another process I have just been successful in mastering.

Its amazing how the accuracy Mertz showed last year is off this year. Deep ball he struggled last year too, but this year all his throws are off target.
