    Watching the halftime interview just now, Napier really is the CEO coach. Like a CEO of a major failing corporation, he is somewhat detached from what's going on in his company and only somewhat aware of problems. He speaks in vague meaningless corporate speak expressions. Trusts his process over results. Lack flexibility to pivot and creatively solve problems. Bloated management. Overpaid executives whose corporate earnings aren't justifying the salaries.

    The '79 season was less awful in several respects.
    - They could play D and only got blown out once, IIRC
    - The team battled every opponent as hard as they could with no quiting, ever
    - We had a real FB coach who cleaned house and kicked butt
    - Pell wasn't worse in his third season than in his first
    That's just for starters
