Often happens like that. The area around Pierson, Fl., is heavily Hispanic because of all the ferns grown for the floral trade. I talked with an older gentleman who said he started it. The growers couldn't get enough locals to cut the ferns, so he and another guy took a truck to Texas and came back with 25 workers. And it's grown from there.
While you’re at it, just turn on MSNBC, hide the remote and stare at the tv for awhile. Assuming you don’t already do that. Your love affair with Kamala happened suddenly but not surprisingly.
Yeah, exactly. 25 workers. Not 20,000 in the span of a few years for a town of 58,000. Again, the funny part about this Springfield, Ohio thing is it's hammering other points home that Trump has been making. The locals aren't complaining about their pets being eaten, but they are complaining about their jobs being taken, their rents and cost of living skyrocketing and the severe degradation of healthcare services with a system that is trying to operate way above capacity. Frankly, I wish Trump would have focused on these issues more, but it's not unheard of him to say things to put a spotlight on something for a different reason. He's always done this with immigration. Using worst-case scenarios to describe the problem. This is because talking about people having a hard time getting healthcare in Springfield, Ohio doesn't resonate with voters outside of Springfield, Ohio. But start talking about cats being eaten and everybody turns their attention to what's going on there. I'm not claiming this was his strategy all along, but it does seem to have worked out that way. Nobody is going to look at 20,000 migrants slamming a town of 58,000 in the middle of Ohio within a couple of years as a good thing. Especially not people in the rust belt. Okay, maybe they aren't eating cats, but they are actually doing much worse. Hence the real reason Biden signed a border bill a few months ago, because the fallout of his open borders policy was beginning to come to roost and it was only going to get much worse if something wasn't done. We haven't seen the last of these types of stories we're seeing in Springfield.
I had him on ignore for a while but he starts too many threads on recent events worth discussing that I wasn’t seeing.
Wait, this is news. You mean immigrants come here to do work that Americans won't? Has anyone been made aware of this? /sarcasm
We now have multiple post-debate polls showing Trump in the lead in Michigan and North Carolina. Remember, Michigan polling almost always lowballs Trump 4 or 5 points. Horrible debate for Trump...
Liar. There is no other way to say it. Long intro but she talked about small business credits, child tax credit, home buying and home building support…and a whole bunch more. Try your lies where people are stupid. Try truth social.
Odd. To most candidates credibility, believability, and personal integrity are character traits they try to emphasize by being credible, believable, demonstrating integrity. Gotta hand it to trump though, deficits in these areas are unimportant to his voters and he knows it.
Sure like "Trump's wall is a disgrace and a waste of money. We should end ICE and decriminalize border crossings ..................... I'm for the wall, y'all!!! And let's punish those mf'ers!!! (cackles)"
