Work with TX instead of suing them if they really want to stop the crossings but they don't really want to stop it obviously.

10 months before, but fair question. But, regardless, even if it was purely political pandering, if the need for such strong measures was as urgently needed as Trump was screaming, why would anyone who loves this country interfere with bipartisan efforts to fix the problem, regardless of timing?!?!

Either the problems at the border are overstated by Trump, or he places himself above the needs for the Country.

I don’t think anyone could logically argue differently.

Have you seen what the Texas governor does? He refuses to work with the federal government. That makes working with Texas extraordinarily difficult.

Probably because the bill - like all major legislation - had to be negotiated for months and months and be brought to the floor of the house and senate. It’s not something that can be “conjured up” 6 months before an election nor is it the Presidents job to do that.

Pretty wise of Biden to get stuff like infrastructure and Chips Act out of the way first. The Border is something the Republicans made a hyperbolic priority out of, then they tanked their own bill! Does that make sense to you? Maybe Biden knew how it would play out given election year politics, but at the end of the day he was ready to sign a bill endorsed by border patrol and negotiated by Langford of OK. There is only one reason that bill didn’t get to his desk. Trump put in a call to kill it so it would remain a political issue.

Ok, I'm sure the guy who was bussing/flying people to blue states and dropping them off with no warning and usurping immigration powers at the power was begging to be worked with in good faith. The fact is, all those stunts kinda worked and the Democrats were ready to fold completely on immigration and the Republicans were like "pass." Democrats even dropped protections for Dreamers, that's how on the barrel they were. Hey, maybe it was a good play, since Kamala is basically like "I'll sign the same bill." If the border is such a crisis, then Republicans didnt seem in a hurry either, did they? They are willing to wait so Trump can take credit or they can make it even more draconian, which is a 50/50 shot at best, and who knows what the makeup of the house or senate will be either. Its hard to see a more right wing bill happening unless they win a trifecta.

I think I previously posted that humans taste like pork. I think cays taste like a mix of tuna and chicken and can be a little stringy

Some people think.they taste slightly.gamey.with just a hint.of sweetness like rabbit to reduce stringiness cut the cat meat a cross the grain
. They say cat should be cooked low and slow but that's how you make beef jerky. I'd oil it.up and cook at 450F
in the oven or better yet deep fry it

MAGA is really missing a huge opportunity here. Teach the Haitians how to barbecue python and iguana, bus them down to south Florida and let them loose. After they eradicate those problems, on to the next invasive species. I've heard peacocks are really annoying.
