This is all correct. I saw this debate as a hurdle for Harris which she cleared.

As to your post above, which is true, the question is if some people have grown tired of the idiocy. Clearly his base hasn’t but is there a small percent in the middle that after 8 years just want this nonsense to end? To the extent there is this performance did nothing to stop those who may feel this way. On the flip side, did his performance actually convince anybody on the fence to vote for him? It is hard to imagine.
