IF they had addressed the possibly real issues Springfield might face there could be a discussion of responsibilities and solutions.....thats how actual adults and leaders work. I know what the point of the thread is, but they laughed at my post and my post had nothing to do with propagating or defending the pet eating rumor. I was pointing out the very real problems facing that small town by the rapid influx of migrants. I assume perhaps it’s possible that they were just in laughing mode and slapped the funny on anything without really comprehending what was being said. On Too Hot that is always a possibility. By the way, sitting in a doctors office waiting room this morning, a black woman from Springfield was telling another woman about the problems that the large influx of people has caused in terms of city and county services, housing, and schools.

Sorry, I meant to answer your questions. Of course I prefer someone who would deal with the real issues and not promote silly rumors. There is a grand irony in all this. The story about eating pets has generated national attention on the city of Springfield and brought to light the real problems they are facing with a rapid influx of migrants. As a result, Ohio Governor DeWine has earmarked funding directly for Springfield to alleviate some of these problems. I haven’t seen whether or not the federal government is going to help out.
On Twitter, they have a Haitian woman busted for eating a cat in a woman's front yard and a Clark County police report showing the arrest of 4 Haitians with four stolen geese. They are eating the pets. How did this many Haitians find their way to these small towns? Were they flown there or bussed?
