Deion demands band stop playing after Colorado TD’s

Holy crap you're not joking. Self above else is a surefire way to kill any team, probably going to follow his son to the NFL where he will flame out.

 

This is serious? Sounds too dumb not to be a joke. At least we don’t have that clownshow here.

Band should ignore him, after another 4-8 he and his family will be gone next year.

 

Band should play the song but have it off beat and add some sad trombones.

 

Maybe on the road teams can play his son's song every time he's sacked or throws a pick....maybe not, that would really slow the game down.

 

That would be epic!

 

Any band people here? Could a football coach at UF order the band what to play or not to play?

There were posters that wanted him before F$U snatched him up.

 

And I had to almost fight people who wanted this clown here last year after 2 games.

 

Winning allows coaches to do a lot by way of personal authority, so maybe. Losing, on the other hand, gives coaches a much shorter leash in terms of eccentric behavior (like telling the band to play a special song for your son). I think, for instance, of McElwain’s “aw shucks, ain’t it cool” schtick. People generally thought it was endearing in 2015 and 2016, but it got real old, real fast in 2017.

Same thing with Coach BOOM's sideline explosions in 2013. Same thing with Napier's muted response to what's happening on the field. If he was winning, he'd be calm, cool, and unflappable. Now he's in it for the buyout.
