Why are you fighting this? It's hilarious. You know what, F it. Let's not require ID for anything. I'm on your team now, no ID for flying, driving, buying a gun, getting social security, getting health insurance...

The rotting dead horse is the Cons trying to invent a stupid solution to an essentially nonexistent problem. It is nothing but a convenient made-up construct by the Cons to explain their lack of popular vote support.

Just because a situation may require an ID doesn't mean they're all the same. I don't know why you try to reduce everything down to a black and white argument. I think you're smart enough to see the differences but it seems you purposefully choose not to.

So you are cool not knowing 100% if there is voter fraud. You and the other far lefties are really against 80% of the country. Good luck with that. You nor anyone else has made a compelling argument of any reason to not require ID to vote. Why is it required in pretty much every country but ours? Why is only 1 side not wanting it yet 80% of the country wants it.

I don't have to make a compelling case to change the status quo. The people that want to change it need to prove that fraud is a significant enough issue to warrant disenfranchising citizens and making it more difficult for some people to vote. To date, they haven't been able to do so other than at most dozens of one-off instances.

There isn't fraud when people fly from Florida to North Carolina either but we have to show ID to fly. Disenfranchising citizens? LOL. Thanks for spewing the dem playbook there. Since we already know there has been fraud and we have zero idea how large considering we have anywhere from 10-25million illegal immigrants in our country so yeah, I'm gonna go with the 80% of the country who thinks there should be Voter ID laws. Simple as that. Anyone fighting it looks like they are trying to hide something.

Did you even read your own link? Because it has a whole bunch of alternatives to ID to deal with this temporary state (not federal) requirement. You really can't fix stupid...

I'll ask again how illegal aliens in any significant numbers are able to vote in the election. How would that work? What are the specifics for how that would happen? It's already illegal for them to vote and punishment is substantial relative to the crime - years in prison for a single vote which is 99.99999% inconsequential to the election results.

Yes, and how do you get those things? You need an ID. Try getting some of those things without an ID and let me know LOL.

How do you know? I have no idea how many illegal aliens are voting. I know some have, so how many is a mystery because some states don't want to know. You are cool with being ignorant to the matter because in your head "there isn't major fraud". Didn't realize that's the minimum for wanting something done. Again, 80% of the country agrees with me.

Lol...a tax id number. It is literally the number that they give you if you can't obtain other ID due to status but want to pay taxes.

    You own goaled yourself again!

It is hilarious how far you will dig the hole when you are wrong. There was no requirement for ID for Covid shots, no matter how much it makes you wrong.

Entered thread to see people who'll be voting for a felon complain about a single illegal immigrant voting....when there is probably less immigrant voting fraud than there is for Republicans in the Villages alone.

Shaking head at how people so genuinely clueless can apparently thrive in modern America without knowing.....well, apparently without knowing much of anything whatsoever beyond what must be needed to succeed professionally.

I put in a link with several studies showing overall voter fraud. Every single study fell into the range of total fraud vote being between 1 in 50,000 and 1 in 100,000. To put this into perspective, if you add up all the potential fraud votes in 2020, not just undocumented immigrants voting, but all fraud votes, there wouldn't have been enough to flip a single state.

We don't know exact numbers of undocumented immigrants voting, but we know the numbers are infinitesimally small. In most elections, if they reach triple digits, that would be a lot. Asking for ID to make people vote is a solution looking for a problem. And I'd rather have a handful of people vote who shouldn't versus an unknown number of persons without ID who would be turned away from their right to vote.

As for an ITIN, which you need to get utilities, that's not difficult. And there are over 5.25 million people in the US with an ITIN. And ITIN isn't an identification, but will allow you to set up utility service without an ID.

You're saying you don't even know if there's a problem, so then why you pushing a "solution" to something we don't even know if there's a problem?

I can tell you with fairly high confidence that this isn't a problem because every state audits their results, and specifically in 2020, the entire army of Republican lawyers were hunting for any evidence of fraud yet they couldn't find anything.

And a dude in the villages voted for Trump as his dead wife.

Both sides do it. Not in large numbers. It’s minimal. Mostly cancels each other out and has no significant impact. Doesn’t change the election outcomes. It’s prosecuted when discovered. It’s not being condoned by either party.

Anyone from either side who points fingers without acknowledging that their own side does it is being a hypocrite and has no credibility.
