Not against Miami. He should have been able to see from practice that Waites would struggle against even an FCS school, which he did. The order of OT is Barber, Manuel, Crenshaw and whichever OG who agrees to move out there. CBN really has a blindspot at that position, and it's going to kill Mertz and then Lagway.
It may have only be Samford but we've struggled recently against similarly overmatched teams, so I'll happily take it. Plus, my younger son went up with friends and saw his first Gator game and had a fantastic time. It's just really nice to have such small reminders of the important things.
Well, that would make him the textbook definition of insane: trying the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.
Well the other one that someone started was locked to. I am not one to take on an exercise of futility of starting another thread just to have that locked to. So not an option
Ah. So who is responsible for teaching the players how to execute? Maybe we need a different version of that guy.
Our receivers were always covered for Franks but were instantly open for Trask. There are other factors besides the routes being run but Napiers passing game hasn’t been impressive until yesterday. Maybe DJ will make it work. If you miss your deep balls, it makes any system harder to work. That is however execution. It’s probably a bit of both.
So did Spurrier. We've seen him run the same play three times in a row because he didn't think it was being executed right. Of course, you can do that when you're a winner.
He will start. Billy doesn’t see what Lagway does to help the team. He probably thinks Graham can make those throws.
Something about teams paying for put all 11 defensive players within ten yards of the line of scrimmage and then getting busted a couple times that opens up the field. Im not sure if Mertz is just bad downfield or Napier just tells him take 5 yards if they give it to you before you look upfield. Possibly Lagway is seeing more downfield first and those big plays get rid of the crowded line of scrimmage and make the offense look more palatable. Exactly your point with Franks/Trask...one guy could make them pay and the other just couldn't be efficient enough for the defense to adjust out of their base defense. I wonder if Napier is thrilled the offense looks dynamic under Lagway or pissed he didn't take the 5 yard gimme as the first read.
Yes. They also think their boy Billy is going to win 7 games (wow what an accomplishment!) because we beat a bad Samford team. Reality will set back in on Saturday.
Sorry, you can start a poll to prove me wrong, but I don’t think a significant portion of this board believes either that Lagway will start on Saturday (unless, of course, Mertz is still in protocol; low chance of that) or that this team is going to win seven games this year. I get the cynicism for sunshine pumpers, though.
