    No he cannot turn this into a winning season. Despite that, he’s still the better option at QB.

    hahahahaha. Lex Smith had more experience than Shane Matthews going in to 1990. As did Kyle Morris.

    Ehhh. That didn’t seem to be true last week. It took an injury for Lagway to get any snaps even though the offense was struggling mightily. I don’t have much faith that Lagway will play much if Mertz is given the start.

    My oldest is a junior in college, so that is why I consider them kids. Thats what I mean when I say it. In the grand scheme, they are.

    You are missing my point. He nearly doubled Leak's previous record. (Vs a bad Kentucky team iirc). Many of our best Freshman games statistically have come against bad teams. The point is we havent been doing that lately against even the bad teams.

    For the 1st time in a long time, we did what we were supposed to do.
