Defender came in unblocked. Had a ton of blockers inside & no one blocked him.

 

With all the noise and the need to have a statement drive, this is what we deliver!?

 

Play was never going to fool anyone when we never run that play. I don’t know the last time I saw us run wildcat. No reason Samford should bite on any motion or fake.

 

Guys… I think I might be joining the dark side after that play call. I’ve been sunshine pumping for two years, but that was just ridiculous.

 

Anyone see how our OL is getting pushed back by Samford?

 

So Samford gave up 38 in a loss to West Georgia last week. W. GA. is new to FCS playing their first game as an FCS member last week.

 

Napier's play calling is so damn conservative and predictable, it's hard to watch

 

I wonder who called that one.

 

Napier is the reason we lose. Period. Wildcat? So take the ball out of the hands of the qb go could run, pass or hand off and tell the defense what you are doing. So dumb.

 

Love the aggressive, opened up attack we employed on that first drive!

 

Reminded me of the trick play on 4th down vs uga. Just a dumb play.

Why can he just line the regular offense up on 4th and 1 and run a play, why do we always seem to try something cute? Our OL can’t block long enough for cute
