Beat me to it. 6-6 means this team got way better after week 1; probably finished the season winning in Tally, and beat one or two good teams along the way. The the OP's point, how can things play out better from here? Maybe Miami was awesome, maybe a mobile QB like Cam Ward provided problems UF won't see very often the rest of the season, and the defense rounds into better form. Maybe the offense is more dynamic with DJ and gets away from Napier's playcalling. Maybe some of the teams on the schedule get hit with a key injury or two before we play them. It's college football, lots of crazy things can happen... But all of that stuff would still, at best, get UF to a 6-6 or 7-5 record.
“Gators have a Monday through Thursday problem” And I think we will need both QB going forward. Whatever %. Don’t want to get DJ hurt, but he needs solid minutes. Definitely formation changes to help both of them. LB are a certain positive. On the D line, stick with the horses or ponies to try and give the DB some help. Good list and thoughts.
How is this going to make the team be better in blocking, route running, tackling, in pass defense? Also, if Lagway is calling the plays, how is he going to be getting infrom the spotters in the booth? That information if vital.
I’ve seen the level we’ve been and that part is kinda proven. I’m down to see what others can do. What’s been happening is not going to end well. When you have Spurrier saying to do something different, he’s being as nice as he can be. You don’t really want to hear his full opinion.
