I hope that was sarcasm. But I would like to add a 6 O-lineman in place of one of our "blocking" tight ends.

What’s this, a voice of reason? Be careful with that around here, nobody wants to hear that kind of positivity.

He was the 3rd highest graded starting OL. So, average is fair.

Maybe I'm out of touch, but to me a captain is the guy leading by example on every play. Jake Slaughter who graded higher and could be seen on the same play trying but missing the tackle, why is he not a superior canidate for captain in every way?

After going back and looking at it closely George would engage with his guy and stop him …then turn around and try to chase down the guy that blew by Waites… over and over again. Put a capable guy at RT the right side looks a lot better.

Do we have a capable guy at RT? If so, why aren’t they playing? Why is our RT not capable? He didn’t recruit himself.

We have two (2) OL coaches. What is their respective role in this?

Why do we have two (2) OL coaches?

We have several dozen “analysts”. We were told that we needed them to recruit and coach better. What’s their role in this?

Maybe captains aren’t picked based solely on how they graded in the previous game? Maybe it’s also about a players work ethic, his leadership, his attitude, his performance in this weeks practice, the classroom, the impact on the locker room? Idk, I’m just saying. Why pile on the coaches and the players as if we know more than them? It’s just plain silly and ignorant.

I fundamentally do not trust the staffs judgement. I see a guy not caring to give it his all, I'll make judgement on what I see. The ship has sailed on trust the coaches and what they are telling us is happening behind the curtain.

My question is, why is Waites playing? Don't we have anyone else?

If we line em up far enough on the right side, it’ll at least create a longer path to the qb.

Blocking your avg guy may look better. An elite edge rusher is a whole different animal and requires freaking wuick feet for a tackle. Probably don’t see that type of rush in practice.

I think Dan Mullen was consulted on the choice of captains based on the Marco Wilson choice post shoe toss.

Ironic they we were manhandled on both the OL and DL and those are your captains this week. Rewarding incompetence is what Billy is all about.

What percentage of fans could name a captain from last week’s game?
