We ran it a ton with Anthony Richardson. Not sure why we have not gotten back to it and the RPO. IF your Oline is bad, you have to find ways to freeze up the pass rush for a moment
That would require out of the box thinking and in game adjustments. Something we haven’t seen in 2.1 seasons.
Talk about being retained, it gets my goat that we have a babysitter for DC and still look lost. Not to mention what he being paid
This stuff is just so tiresome from him at this point. Why isn't Miami saying credit to Florida? Why does the score and the game say otherwise about being so close? Why are we just close after an offseason of praise and hype and not actually there? Just lends credence to those who believe he will always think he's a few assignments away from a great team instead of trying different things as Spurrier suggested.
This is all very similar to Mullen. we are incentivizing our coaches to fail Stricklin must have watched "The Producers" one too many times. If any one of us had Billy's contract, would whether UF employed us or not in 2025 be of any concern? Obviously the thought of getting fired must be very tempting to him...hence the laid back non urgency and basement remarks
One thing I won't jump on board with is the suggestion Napier is trying to fail or doesn't care to fail because he got paid. Nothing really attests to that. More likely he is just too rigid and in over his head to succeed under his current vision which included staff from Louisiana initially and himself as OC. He is trying hw just doesn't know how....
