I don’t want to make assumptions but I suspect “Colt’s” parents are gun nuts.

Yeah, that is always the giveaway. When people just say "Mental Health," but have no actionable explanations for why the US supposedly has this worse mental health or what to do about it. It is like a catchphrase at this point rather than a serious policy position.

Just watched an updated report. This school had all of the appropriate safeguards in place. Self locking doors and the stadium was appropriately used as a reunification site.

No need to trivialize the issue. Teachers have reason to be upset that our country refuses to solve an inexcusable problem, one that causes buildings which should be (metaphorically speaking) museums, art studios and laboratories into prisons and fortresses.
