Does upstate NY count lol! In all seriousness I had a choice on Saturday. Watch a game where I knew going in that Miami was going to win or play Red Dead Online. I decided, for my sanity and liver to just play a game. I had the ESPN app so I was kinda following it. Once I saw where this was headed I just switched to my red dead map on my phone and laughed. I’m never this apathetic to Florida football. Have watched every game since 95 even the Nebraska beat down. Went to every game as an undergrad. Watched every game post grad. This is the first time I’m looking for other things to fill my time with. My thoughts are if the administration is cool with what went down on Saturday, then why should I give a damn.

As a long time (freshman in 1963) Gator fan, I have seen the best of times and the worst of times in Gator football. It seems to me that expressing opinions about the present state of the football program is not bashing. Moreover, a coach who is making millions to produce success should not be surprised when losing seasons result in negative critiques.

 

Let it go. Nobody gives a darn. He said it after embarrassing his staff(deserved), our players, and whoever else cares about UF Football. He's quite an amalgamation of adjectives I will wait until he departs to use.

I will say, he really doesn't know football, how to design a program, how to motivate his players and staff. The guy is a wreck and probably a joke among his SEC peers.

Maybe Billy and his brother Kurt are looking for basements. His brother is the head coach at Murray County and has a record of 4-19 since taking over. They must compare notes and call plays together.

 

The problem is these days the straight up truth is boring. In addition to the "they played hard" comment Everything he said was the truth, albeit a bit of coach speak, talking about he had a couple guys make mistakes that kept the drives alive, (we had only 2 penalties, both roughing the passer on 3rd down.)

We had trouble with the secondary, (not with the tackling which I thought was decent) giving ip chunk plays as the play btoke down and the DBs were killed by eye candy. After a couple successful scrambles by Ward, they were caught looking in the back field too much. I also seen a few busted coverage like the second TD pass to the corner where the WRs crossed and both DBs bit on the IN route and left the man on the corner post wide open.

Fundamentals I feel were better in some areas. Tackling, both open field and gang Tackling i thought overall was improved save for a few times near the end when they were already down 4 TDs.

He wasn't wrong irt the things he stated, he's not the type who is gonna pass the buck and blast a individual to the media. He also really doesn't have many options of what to say after game 1 except we gotta get better. And if he were to not comment at all he would be crucified.

Honestly I don't care what they say in a post game pressers, All that matters is what physically happens any way so just go out there and show me on the field the next week. Never understood why there's so many required weekly press conferences. Less talking, more Winning.
