He may have fallen for the hype or he may have just been hoping it was true. Whatever the case, he knows more about college football and especially DB and WR play than anyone on GC, even you.

So the process may actually be running the same set of boring plays all season to a 2-3 win record and then when we get FSU we call the alternates to those plays...almost like last year when we called the slowest double reverse flea flicker into a big upfield push. Damn...Billy has them right where he wants them.

Truthfully Miami was better at knowing how to run our plays than we were...dead turtle ball Billy needs to go.

Cool. Never said I knew more than him and I’m not discrediting his take there. Just pointing out a few weeks ago he was pretty confident UF would go undefeated in state. He had more practice exposure than any of us.

He needs to go enjoy his life with all that unearned money at some rural north Orlando high school where he can hand out his 1 page playbook, leather helmets and videos of Knute Rockne breaking off a 4 yard run in the mud.

Laugh all you want, those freakin things get stuck sometimes. I almost had to get a strap wrench out to open my cherry coke a little while ago.

Got to support my fellow Gator’s. I’m not paying a buyout though if you do a poor job with the filling.

He was twisting the cap backwards...kind of like when he is throwing backward in the backfield on 4th and 23....it's his usual bonehead move.

Rotation system makes no sense. None at all.

Billy does not scheme up for matchups. Just believes if we execute we will be fine.

Add to that as I’ve been saying for 3 years he has no urgency and these three things alone make him not right for big time football.

Oh, I forgot how he chose not to work the portal very much early because he had such a rebuild and wanted to do it with non experienced players.

Jimbo Fisher’s buyout at TAMU was something like 75 million dollars, so 26 million doesn’t seem so bad, LOL. Do you know why college football coaches’ buyouts are so expensive. Because it’s worth it.

It was a fully guaranteed 10 year contact. His buyout was still that much when he was fired. A bunch more of those types of contracts went out shortly after. Riley’s contract at USC is insane.

Somehow Fedora's boring plays produced yards and scoring before the FSU game. Convrrsely we have seen that CBN is not building for the future with his playcalling, and supposedly the OC was calling the plays anyhow.

Even CBN's plays theoretically could have yielded some results. Mertz threw too late on that int/ko because he was not taught that route well enough that would have put the ball inside the 5 or been a td. Badger had potentially 2 TD that were partially mistakes on Mertz and Badger.

However, those plays are completely irrelevant because they were doomed from the start. Badger should have been Mizell and it would have been a td. Badger is not a down the field threat. He is who you hit on one on one for 15 yards, a good route runner if he knows the play, which he didn't at times. The protection was bad on the int, so that Mertz can't trust his steps and angle. The lack of self awareness is stunning.

That first horrid 3rd day playcall was almost all I needed to see. Couldn’t believe it. But totally believed it.
