She needs to be removed from the case. This ruling was so obviously flawed there can be no doubt that she isn't being impartial.

Personally, they should be looking to remove her as a judge. Not sure how that is possible, but she is either being unfaithful to her position, or is incompetent. In either case she shouldn't be given such responsibility.

Imagine the professional embarrassment she'd have when the case is summarily thrown back to her.

She’s already gone through the pains of such embarrassment. Hasn’t seemed to move the needle, which in some sense is good, assuming she is convinced her reasoning is sound and correct.

Federal judge deals major blow to Trump’s last-ditch effort to delay his sentencing - Alternet.org

Former President Donald Trump's legal team is running out of options to delay his September 18 felony sentencing date after a Friday ruling by a federal judge.

U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein (an appointee of former President Bill Clinton) officially denied the Trump team's request to remove his felony hush money cover-up case from Manhattan to federal jurisdiction. While Trump has the option to refile the petition, Rubin noted that he has to do so either with the blessing of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg or from Judge Juan Merchan. So far, he has neither.

even the co-chair of the RNC couldn't defend djt claiming he would have own California with a fair vote count...how long until he is out? never ever disagree or question the djt truth

RNC chair calls out Trump’s election claims: "The president can tell stories" (msn.com)

Fox LA anchor Elex Michaelson asked Whatley — who shares the mantle atop the RNC with Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law — to explain the comments, which cast doubt onto California election legitimacy. Whatley initially sanitized Trump’s comments as mostly accurate, if not “a little bit of a stretch,” before Michaelson pushed back.

“Trump lost here by close to 5 million votes. Do you have evidence that he actually won this state, that there were 5 million more people that voted for him that weren’t counted?” Michaelson asked.

“No . . . You know, I mean, the president can tell stories at any time, but that’s . . . look, I think the key is that we want to make the point that it is very important for us to have election security protection in place, that we are going to protect the ballot,” Whatley said.

Whatley, framing Trump’s insistence that he would have won California if it weren’t for some form of cheating as “stories,” seemingly agreed with Michaelson that narratives insisting voters’s voices won’t be counted were harmful.

Donald Trump's Criminal Cases: What to Watch for This Week - Newsweek

One of Trump's pending indictments—where he is facing four federal counts related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results and remain in office—has a hearing scheduled later this as the proceeding judge decides how to proceed following the Supreme Court's ruling on presidential immunity in July.
The former president is also seeking to push back his sentencing g for his hush money conviction this past May, although it remains unclear if the judge will grant the request. Below is a preview of how those cases could proceed this week.

A hearing was scheduled by U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan for Thursday related to how the presiding judge would like to proceed in the case given the Supreme Court's ruling. Chutkan's status hearing was scheduled prior to the DOJ's fresh indictment, which may now delay the case even more as Trump seeks a whole new slew of appeals against his charges.

A joint status report was filed by both parties in the case late last week, although prosecutors disagreed with how Trump's defense team wants to proceed. While the former president's lawyers previewed numerous ways Trump plans to motion to dismiss the charges, prosecutors at Special Counsel Jack Smith's office asked that Chutkan issue an expedited review of how the Supreme Court's immunity ruling impacts the accusations included in the indictment.

Legal experts have been split on whether Smith's fresh indictment was a smart move in the case. While one analyst praised it as a "stroke of genius," other experts have told Newsweek that the revised charges are a bit of a gamble for the DOJ, given that Trump will now have a chance to re-challenge the case.

I think this poster is serious. What a sad commentary on America. (even if that gas price # were true, which it's obviously not.)
