Who is Strickland and why would he care?
He's the imposter that thinks he's our AD...
I'll never forget this gem ... "We will attack by scheme. More importantly, we'll attack with a relentless mindset. We're going to be unique. We're going to be a tough three-day prep for the opponent. Simply put, we want to be the other team that the other team dreads to play." No one dreads to play us.
Actually, he does roll the dice. Happened in the FSU game last year and UM game. Poorly called 4th down decisions early in the game when it should have been a punt. Sadly, he rolls the dice at clearly the wrong times and it just zaps the team!
Was that really a BN quote? Attacking with a pop warner scheme. Wow just wow. He may need to be Baker acted. That’s just a total delusion to what we have seen the last 2 years.
https://www.youtube.com/live/tAMb8kx-dTg?feature=shared Watch it. Especially the part when he describes what kind of team UF will be. Lol. None of it has come to fruition. Guy sold the administration and fanbase a bunch of BS.
There is nothing wrong with the program. We just don’t have a capable leader on the sidelines. A really good coach can win with this roster.
100%. Fans wouldn’t have the pitchforks out if we were competitive. It was apparent after the first 5 minutes we were going to get blown out. Napier is in over his head
Where he got me was claiming he studied the failures of others and felt he took all of that into consideration before wanting to take on the challenge. I got suckered as that was exactly what we wanted to hear. No lazy recruiting. No awful boring offenses like we suffered through Mac/champ. No defenses that let the offense dictate the game. Beat rivals. Respect and embrace the expectations. He has failed at so much of what he claimed he understood. Going nearly winless against rivals, some of who were going through rebuilds themselves has nothing to do with impatient fan bases.
He either can’t or won’t because his strategy doesn’t need adjustment, the players just need to process harder and execute better.
It'll take more than that. It took years to reduced Florida to a mid-level P4 team. It will take some time to build it back up. Whoever coaches the team will not have the luxury of a loaded team like Hall, Spurrier and Meyer had. There is where the Portal becomes important.
