That is because Naps is a coaching vampire. He sucks the strength out of his players and now is moving on to suck the life out of the fans.

Then drop it already. UF is better than that.

I don’t disagree at all. I work in higher ed and can say with 100% certainty that contemporary education philosophy is concerned only with money. Not a shock, I know, but I can also be fairly certain that if UF administration thought that model would bring in more money, they would absolutely adopt it.

Well, in that sense, at the very least, no one can argue he has not been complete success.

My apologies if this has been asked before and I missed it, but is BN self aware enough to realize that:
    1. This is a poorly coached team
    2. Aware of the “noise” surrounding his tenure and his future as HBC?

I bonded with three other fans around me during the game. We hadn't talked or even looked at each other until that play when we all turned around with a collective wtf was that. Over the next three hours, many a sigh, complaint, and lament were shared. Four strangers of different ages and races became one unified front of Gator disappointment and sadness. Except for the interception and the Montrell TD. Those were good times.

    I'll never forget those guys.

My answer is “no.” And my guess is, he’s going to be the most “surprised” person in the country when he’s canned after losing to Kentucky at home this season. “For what? Kentucky is good, bro.”

@freedomgator Well, if you’re going to throw down the bacon, at least have the common courtesy to post why.

Because it's absurd to think he's not aware of those things. Being able to fix them is another matter.

He's either too stubborn or too stupid to fix the problems he created.

If only they used the money they made from football right? Tge gate was probably 15 mil this past weekend. Instead they spend it on a softball stadium and soak some booster for the tab. It’s a wierd business model no doubt.

He may be surprised that we suck still but he was at the game, he knows it. He probably thought his play calls were going to work. He can’t figure out why Miami’s bunch sets work and his don’t.

    I
Is he aware that talent wise, their front seven is clearly superior to our offensive line? Maybe you need the qb to run around because you damn sure won’t have a clean pocket for Mertz. Did he really not see the concussion coming?

Our rivals must loooove Napier. Probably the best UF coach in history according to them.

The team was woefully prepared for this game. We couldn't block, couldn't tackle, and were not physical anywhere on the field. So the entire preseason was for nothing. I like BN but we have not been able to become a good team. The future is bleak with BN at the helm.NO MORE EXCUSES.

Yeah he's aware of those things but it's doubtful he thinks what he's doing is a problem. He's probably thinking if Mertz makes this read here, or this block here is made, or this penalty here doesn't happen etc we compete in the game. The problem is while that's true, it's also a reflection of coaching. Discipline, scheme, coaching to strengths and around weaknesses, etc.

He just seems to think he is with 2010 Alabama with a roster of 5 stars where he can just run 5 plays over and over again and dominate with perfect execution even if the defense knows what's coming. Similar to what murphree_hall stated when watching the game. The first 3rd down attempt was predictable and foreboding. If he had learned anything at all it would have been different but ...

And some of us got slammed for being constructively critical about our lines even as we were vocal supporters of giving the coach time to make a final judgment. One major criticism was that we were just throwing big unathletic bodies on both sides of the line. We have size now unlike with granthams tweeners but we have a bunch of plodding big guys now who can't put pressure on a qb or block a speed rush.
