The only quote I will remember about Billy Napier is the one that sealed his fate: “You’ve got to remain process-oriented regardless of wins and losses.”
That's not NIL, but a list of "generous donors" who've given cumulative “donations and contributions” of all kinds from 2005 through the end of the 2022. The ON3 NIL collectives list through 2024, where UF isn't even in the top 15, or the Action Network list of average payout by football player in 2022, where UF isn't in the top ten, are the lists we need to use for comparison.
Yeah, I mean if they're not the ones who oust them, they are certainly at least the ones who pay for the buyouts.
The administration isn’t really going to do anything until the money is pledged. Once that kind of money is put together, it’s going to get done what it intended to no matter what the administrations thoughts are on the matter. If the administration pushes back, the money can be raised to have them removed as well. Two ways to get a seat at the table where these discussions are had. Years and years of work, or put up a bunch of money. If you haven’t lived in the world of big time athletic departments, or bought a seat at the table, your opinion matters very little. The constant bitching and endless lists of demands play no real role other than harboring negativity and making the job even harder than it already is.
What an individual is paid isn't public, but the financials from profit & non-profit collectives are. So they can easily tell which are the largest collectives & probably have enough info to determine the average player payout.
NIL deals are not required to go through a collective. You have no idea how much money is moving around.
