Scared money don’t make money. Napier pleased with the scrimmage. :thumbs up:

I like Napier as a person. Couldn't stand McElwain. That said, they both failed the Gators.

Miami is a solid team led by a 3rd year coach. The problem is Cristobal built a team significantly better than Napier starting at the same time under similar circumstances

Notre Dame just beat Texas A&M with an offensive line that had a total of six starts. There’s a lesson in there somewhere.

Yep - And Florida's offensive line is going to have a lot of trouble with A&M's front 7, which includes former Gator Scooby Williams. Texas A&M has a really solid defense, IMO. Notre Dame's defense is great, but the Aggies' QB didn't play very well and they just couldn't get a running game going.

It is unbelievable that we have two OL coaches and the worst OL we have had in my lifetime.

We aren't recruiting high quality linemen on either side of the ball and with an exception here and there, haven't done so in several years. But neither are we developing what we do have.

Agreed. Someone posted a thread here a few weeks ago, with the rankings of all the talent on each team. We were ahead of Miami and FSU. We got paddled by Miami today...at home. What does that tell you?

Well, I fell for the hype again and got intoxicated by the hopium. Even Spurrier must be suffering some self loathing about now.

Can we ask Saban to turn this around? He doesn't need the $. Maybe Lane?

DJ Looked good. That release, man.

Am I confused or were the Pouncey twins our last good linemen? Oh yeah, Cyrus was good. Asa Turner, never heard his name until he got hurt. Is he okay?

I long for the days when we used to just go down the field and score. Kind of like what DJ did. Hey, wait...

    Go Gators.

No hate on Mertz, but Lagway’s release is significantly faster than Mertz’s

They got zero push except for Trell’s touchdown.
