Okay, the small part of the presser that I caught with Napier is baffling to me. He said Miami added some wrinkles to their game plan... AND WE DID NOT ADD ANY OF OUR OWN? I didn't see any wrinkles.

    UCF might be favored.

Still is IMO. Today was less about Mario outcoaching BN as much as his team completely outclassed UF all over the field. BN still had his team ill-prepared and was predictable enough Miami knew how to defend them. And that's all we need to know about BN. In year 3, he can't get the upper hand on a bad coach at a rival.

There's the silver lining I've been searching for: We held Miami under the Mean!!

I'm shocked this thread is still open. Even the mods are ready to say "F this."

Today was the nightmare scenario we were all hoping to avoid. Napier didn't necessarily need to win today but he couldn't get blown out. Well, he got blown out. The writing is on the wall, but you know what the worst part is? I'm just hoping we can find someone to get us back to being decent.

At this point, I don't care what he says in his pressers. He could get up there and make farting noises and it would be just as insightful.

He is not getting let go after the first game, but with the way the schedule is, I can see him being let go once the L's start piling up.

Could you imagine only beating Samford, and the stadium is basically empty the rest of the year.

Samford and UCF are our best bet wins, but UCF could beat us.

This is going to be a tough year on BN and Mertz, both are lame ducks.

Based on the last 2 years and today, I'd say he gets excited watching grass grow, paint drying, and he ever saw popcorn popping his head might explode from being over stimulated

It's year 3, that shouldn't be a surprise anymore. There is no secret sauce, just the dollar general stuff we see every week.

At the minimum he needs to give up OC, play calling duty effective immediately. The fact he doesn't see things he can do to help the situation shows just how poor of a coach he is.

Well at this point, I think the only game left we'll be favored in is Samford, so unless the Admins get an early itchy trigger finger, he'll have plenty of opportunities.

I would imagine he has lost all support from boosters at this point. Once the money dries up, they’ll be forced to make a change at coach

Our four currently unranked opponents would be most likely. Samford, Miss St, UCF, and KY

Could also drop one of those and steal/be gifted another elsewhere.

Napier could also lose the team in week 3.
