Legitimately asking....what would Florida offer that he can't do at Ole Miss? There's a more natural HS recruiting base, but he's also shown that he can build through the portal. NIL $$ doesn't seem to be a problem for OM. He already makes $9m/season, which is ~$2m more/season than Napier at Florida, and has built Ole Miss to be the #6 ranked team in the country.
The excuse for Gator fans who say no to Kiffin is he gave us the finger a long time ago or he's a not a nice guy. In the most polite, respectful way I can say this, but they need to put their pride aside. Who cares if the Gators are winning. He has Ole Miss rolling right now but he has a connection to the Gators and I think we could get him for the right price of course. No more experiments. I want the sure thing to be a top 15 team every year, with a shot at the playoff, over the current nice guy coach with a well below average product.

Because its an elite brand that's not Ole Miss. Ole Miss has flirted with top 5 success before. Hell one of the last times Florida looked elite was when Grier and company throttled Ole Miss that was ranked in the top 5 after beating #1 Alabama. But Ole Miss always goes back to being Ole Miss. I dunno, maybe Kiffin will be willing to be that coach that turns down offers from bigger name schools to stay and finally help them cross over into powerhouse territory, but I dont see it considering this is the same guy that spurned UT in one year for USC AND was willing to get left at the stadium in Atlanta by Saban to take a phone call from Ole Miss. Dude always has his eyes on greener pastures.
No good coach is coming here. Get the USF head coach and just see what happens. At least we will score points and at this points that exciting. Program is done for awhile.
We fire Billy, pay his buyout, and it’s gonna take overpaying to get an established guy like Kiffin to come here. The “it’s Florida” thing isn’t sufficient anymore. We haven’t been in contention for a championship in November since 2012.
