I ate a taco from a taco stand in Tijuana once. The results later that night looked better than what we just witnessed.

He's got to start signing 4 & 5 star linemen on both sides of the ball and then developing them. It starts and ends in the trenches and we're just not getting enough quality beef people.

Dude, he can just fly a plane to Florida and recruit. Or he can just text or FaceTime recruits in Florida. No coach needs to come to UF to recruit in Florida. This isn’t the 2000s and earlier. Kiffin isn’t coming here. He’s made Ole Miss into a perennial contender. I wouldn’t leave, even if Stricklin gave me a blank check.

When someone hires a zillion staff it tells me he won't be accountable. When someone pays top dollar to his lower tier school staff when he has an open wallet to use UF's big name for notable hires it tells me he is not the guy. When someone is too blind to see his staff's shortcomings it tells me he is not the guy. When your team leaders and past stars bail out and say they left cause the coaching staff was incompetent that tells me he is not the guy. When you improve absolutely no positions as the year progresses and fail to adjust to your teams deficiencies and strengths as the year progresses you're not the guy. When SOS says it aint working...you dont tell him to keep it silent...you listen. The writing has been on the wall for a while its time to read it and move another direction.

Got Montrell a 71 yard td, so something about it was working. (ignoring that another lineman had already whiffed on the block Slaughter did make to spring Montrell)

Napier would be perfect for a school like Iowa or Michigan State. Something mid- westy where 8 wins is a good year.

I think he didn’t mesh with the administration and deep down I think he was done after the SEC championship loss.

Yup. I'm not sure who will listen after the putrid effort we saw today. This is not an acceptable form of Florida Football.

Good story, call me when he wins a division title. He’s all sizzle no steak but hiring a terrible coach would be very on brand under this idiotic regime.

C3PO: R2, is this our lot in life? Will we ever be at least competitive? Or are we doomed to constant incompetence on both sides of the ball and incessant word salad excuses in Monday press briefings and game day interviews?

I was a freshman in 1963. It all changed when SOS became the QB and later the Old Ball Coach.
