Dan Mullen had experience when he coached in the SEC and turned around Mississippi St. Florida was winning and finishing in the top 10. One bad year (2021) and he was gone.

I know Mullen had his faults but he was 3-0 against FSU (1-0 vs Miami) and kept Florida competitive.
