Sadly true. He’s been a gamer (last year) but he’s not been good. Of course we can’t run save one play and the right side of our line is… suboptimal.

Good question, but do you keep a coach with the largest, most expensive support staff in the country, who has 3 losing seasons in a row? THE University of Florida is better than this and if it's obvious that Billy Napier isn;t the answer, you have to go get someone else. Who, I have no idea, but the status quo don't cut it.

 

last year and a lot of games we had a very productive first half offensively and then Billy got conservative and stupid in the second half… Let’s hope it’s a reversal this year especially right now

 

Remember back when we were making fun of FSU because they lost and didn’t look good and we were undefeated and filled with optimism? Those were the good old days.

 

I'm most disappointed in the offense. Mertz just can't throw down the field. Yes Miami is getting pressure but even when he has time he can't hit a pass down field. He is who he is. Nobody fears the deep ball.

Really don't know what to think about the D. Tackling is better. No pressure at all. Stupid penalties continue even though those were not called roughing against Mertz all last year. Blown coverages happen... Again. Are we better back there? Dunno.

We just have no identity. To me that's the fatal flaw.
