We have scholarship/NIL D1, SEC athletes and we can’t play zone on 3rd down. I thought we were done with this after Grantham but our DC looks like he’s searching for the “ask madden” button on the every third down. 9 out of 10 high school QBs could have converted those 3rd downs

Miami’s guys are consistently WIDE OPEN. We are being sorely out-schemed and it’s because Napier is the farthest thing from a good offensive coordinator. That’s my point. This is not a team without talent. He has gotten in his own way with the decisions he’s made on how this team has been run.

 

This should not be shocking. His offense never was creative or innovative. He relied on superior recruiting at Louisiana to “out athlete “ the opposition. He can’t do that here. So this is the result.

 

Let's see what he does at Ole Miss. My prediction is that he'll have an all-SEC, maybe All-American year. Just my opinion, but I think Lane Kiffin gets more out of his players than Sun Belt Billy.
