Mertz's numbers are awful compared to Ward.

No creativity, no dynamics on offense. No excitement, only inept outside of the 71 yard run is what the halftime crew is saying about our offense.

What an embarrassment.

 

The guys on the halftime show are telling the truth. Our offense looks inept. There’s no spark to it.

 

Did dude really just set the wins bar at 5 for the Gators? Unacceptable.

 

Perhaps they ate Mexican last night.

 

You can tell our O-line and D-line did NOT do enough pushing sleds and squats this off season...

We also need quicker plays on offense. How many years has the peanut gallery been saying that? Two and counting...

But I do like our tackling... it's far better than it was last year, so far.

Organization never exceeds the pace of the leader. Organizations win when leaders get better. Have we?

 

One of the worst halfs I’ve seen in my 40 years.
No pass rush at all

and the offense looks to have taken a step back. Wilson not being thrown to beyond the line of scrimmage is baffling.

Miami did nothing overly impressive and they are dominating us.

 

Almost every team on the schedule is better than Miami.

 

We have to get a stop to start the 2nd half

 

The play calling and lack of discipline are the parts of the game that really make me the most frustrated. Napier refuses to have a real OC and he demonstrates a terrible feel for the game and football IQ. This is MOTS for the past several years.
I do like a lot of the young players… they will be very good in time

I’m glad we are gonna get it cleaned because otherwise we are going to be in big trouble in this game!!

 

Unfortunately, this is going how I thought it would.

 

I hear Jimbo wants to get back in coaching in 2025. He might come cheap after that A&M windfall. Or maybe Urban want another go at college football. I know one thing, our team plays with the same energy that you hear in a Billy Napier speech!

 

At least halftime lets me watch the Rays game. They have scored almost as many as the Gators have in just 4 innings.
