TE Tae'Shaun Gelsey commits to Gators

Looks like he created more separation than any of them. He smoked his defenders every time.

 

There’s a lot of time left and I guess he was playing wide receiver so maybe not too many teams. Look at him as a tight end?

 

If he has a good season, we will be working to keep him from a few other SEC Schools I bet.

We just need a guy who can win the 50-50 balls on third-and-10 and be strong enough to power through for a few more yards after the catch, plus block a little when he's not targeted. That's it. Georgia has figured that out. Good tight ends seem to make a huge difference these days.

 

Prefer it be 3rd and 2, but okay.

 

Expecting a lot from Boardingham this year. Hopefully another will emerge as well.

 

I wondered if Botdingham was nicked up last year because early in the year he seemed like he was our best threat for a while and then he kind of disappeared

Yep, if he can tighten up on a few of the drops, he should be good for us this year.

 

I know it is high school ball but he had 5 tds last night. That is big time for any receiver / tight end.

Not sure. He looked bigger than the guys covering him but…not sure of the competition nor what position was covering him.
