That "Hi Grandpa" sign wasn't for Coach Spurrier....it was for that kid's real Grandpa, in case you were wondering....lol.....

Pretty good segment before that with Mertz being interview by Marty Smith. Graham really has his head in the right place - very inspiring to have him leading the charge!

The thing is Miami's coach can afford to lose this game in that their schedule is way easy, BN cannot afford to lose this game at home against an equally matched team here at home. To lose again at home, BN would have one of the worst if not the worst home record for the number of games he has coached here. Most of those home losses would be against equally matched teams or teams we were favored to win. A win tomorrow and optimism reigns, a loss tomorrow and doom and gloom prevails. We need a win especially after all the hubbub about how improved and motivated this team is.

Just a question on your offensive line. I know that Mario is considered a great OL coach. I am just wondering what his offensive philosophy is. I notice that your projected starting transfer center is listed at 290 and McCoy is listed the same at guard. Meanwhile Arroyo is 350. Is Mario trying to work in a blend of mobility and smash mouth power or is he just in the process of replacing players to get his guys in place that he has recruited. Just in comparison, our center who was highly rated by PFF and was 290+ was told by the S&C staff he had to bulk up and did for this year. George our over 350 RG was told to get down to 340 and did.

I'm interested in seeing how Barrow holds up. When I see pictures of him, he looks the size of our F and Jack players with a bit more of a gut.

On your questions, I would say for the noise that your guys will be fine if your OL are disciplined and the play gets in timely. On the neutralizing Wilson, he already was last year, because he only got the ball mostly behind the line of scrimmage, consequently why his yards per catch were so low (though he was a monster at YAC). This year he will likely be lining up all over the field as will his other starting receivers who have all played in the slot.

Miami fans are like Cowboys fans. Haven’t won anything of significance in 20+ years but this year is finally their year.

Good luck with that. If the Gators lose tomorrow (to a team that is favored in the Swamp) this place will be . . .

His offensive philosophy is to be physical and run the ball, sometimes too much to his own detriment-- a lot of dives out of Pistol on 3rd and 2 for losses/no gains smh or even the GT game for example. I think you meant Anez Cooper. I'd say it's the former, he would run the ball all game if he could. I'm interested to see if he will let OC Shannon Dawson air it out more with Cam at QB.

DC Lance Guidry loves smaller DL for some reason. Barrow is a pretty strong guy with long arms. Thought you might've liked this

Lol. When Mertz came to UF everybody thought the sky was falling, but I watched some of his games and realized he was good, but that Wisky scheme and OL was hot garbage as you illustrated. UF has had some good undersized DT, but that is not realistic in the present SEC. We would have no hope against Georgia with 290 and under guys.
