Definitely. And if anyone hasn't figured it out, Napier is in the Dabo model. NOW- Dabo had tons of hiccups. He made many dumb mistakes and Clemson crapped the bed so many times from 2010-2014 so that yes, Clemsoning was a verb. And USCe- who Clemson fans hate, hate, hate so much- won 5 in a row. Many losses were the result of poor coaching/ execution. A dumber AD/ fan base would have fired Dabo out of frustration. Clemson did not. But (like Napier), Dabo believed in his system, himself, his God. And he continued to build his way. And they beat Bama TWICE to win the natty.
I would say two good things about Muschamp. He cleaned up the locker room for the most part, and, he's a good defensive mind. I wouldn't go so far as to say he is an amazing guy. I think he was a bit of a lunatic on the sidelines. Not my idea of someone to look up to or be inspired by.

It was implanted in his leg following a high school baseball injury that nearly ended his college football career before it started. If you ask him about it, the first words from his mouth are those of his father: Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you handle it. It's something he says all the time now. As a tribute to his father's wisdom, Muschamp often turns to this thought in times of trial. Muschamp fought back from this devastating injury to walk on at UGA then after taking a RS playing in every game over 4 years. He could have quit 100 times. But he didn't. I'm really inspired by this. It's amazing. I would bet 1000s of others are too. But you are right he has a temper. I agree. I also said he's not a good head coach. But guess what- there's LOTS of great people in this world who would not be a good head football coach.
I agree. It's the Peter Principle at work. Several great DCs never was tempted to try. Bud Foster, for example. I never had issues with Muschamp. He simply met his level of incompetence. We all do...

He’s a slimy televangelist masquerading as a football coach, who whines whenever he doesn’t get his way. Furthermore, several of his players have gotten popped for PEDs the years they won championships. So he’s a cheater, too. No one ever mentions any of this stuff about him, so I guess I will.

Isn't it funny that Spurrier thinks a lot of him given that... 1) Spurrier knows him far better than you. 2) He was a rival coach to Spurrier and beat Spurrier a few times. Spurrier isn't known for being friendly with his rival coaches. (See Goff, Ray.) 3) Spurrier is famous for hating cheaters and has very little tolerance for same.
