Boar's Head death toll now at 9

Youngkin has to answer for this. The FDA paid Virginia to handle the inspections and they just took the money and let people die. Republicans and their disdain for regulations killed 9 people.

Yea. I watched a CBS news story and the description of what they found there was revolting. I always buy boars head. Not sure about them now.

 

Sounds like boars head is going to have to win back some customers although I'm sure many people won't even hear about it or will but won't remember. The reports of what was found at the plant was pretty bad.

Pretty infuriating to portray yourself as a premium company and charge premium prices and then run a plant to that standard, or lack thereof.

 

They will be under scrutiny and clean up their act like Jack In the Box back in the day. My hope is that it results in reduced prices.

Yep, and if they hadn't done that, I would have inadvertently bought some of their meats. I do not trust the FDA nor any federal government agency. Something fishy about this whole thing. It's too convenient for the Dems and how dirty they play politics for me to think this was just The Pub governor's fault.

Having said that, I do think that the entire corporation needs to be fully investigated until they find out what they allowed to happen...

You're right. I don't know if that's true or even if it's true, if it's actually related. There are tradeoffs to cutting regulations though.
