An armed illegal immigrant gang has reportedly taken over an apartment complex in Aurora, CO

This isn't going to end well... story wise and thread wise but Im here for it.

 

although this is terrible, how many complexes are under the effective control of domestic gangs? neither situation is acceptable, especially with cameras and drone abilities these days

 

I used to live near Aurora when I lived in Denver (Lowry area) but avoided it best I could. One of my least favorite areas in the Denver metro, second only to Commerce City and their disgustingly foul smelling horse rendering plant.

 

Or as my buddy who lives in Highlands Ranch says "Commerce Shitty"

I can't exactly connect the dots, but it appears that the City of Aurora "abated" a property recently, declaring it unsafe to live because of multiple code violations. The building had been in disrepair for at least 2 years and it's fair to call it a slum.
