The beach is millions daily always surrounded by sharks. Go swim over to a gator and see what happens.

Gators are always there too. Difference for me is sharks are attracted to commotion in the water where gators generally flee. As long as they're not being fed, my experience with gators is that they don't want to be anywhere near me, where a shark my be interested in seeing what I'm up to. Sharks can be aggressive and looking for a meal in all temps. Gators won't feed in temps near the lower 70's, and can't hardly move if it's much cooler than that.

If you're swimming in an area with a lot of other people, I'm much more comfortable in fresh water. I swim regularly in both though. It's probably more about where you spent more time growing up. I definitely spent more time in our gator infested lakes and rivers. Nowadays I probably spend more days per year in the salt, but I'm still more comfortable in fresh. You'll laugh, I'm sure, but I hate seeing remoras about as much as I hate seeing a shark. lol

Just heard the HBC talk about a buffet with unlimited mimosas at Spurrier’s on Saturdays and Sundays, so that may work. @Skink @Wanne15

You still need a reservation unless you get there early and eat at the bar.

Sharks just don’t bother me. It’s makes my heart jump no doubt but gators are worse in my opinion. Gators tend to stay away from swimming holes and such but if you gave me the choice of jumping in with either I’d pick the shark. The only times I freak out on sharks is when they are in a feeding frenzy and the bait is running into my legs and jumping all around me.

I did go to Harry’s last night and on Skinks recommendation got the crawfish étouffée and it was good and a very generous portion. Several big nose IPAs were good also. I’ve got reservations at Spurs after the game tonight
