You just contradicted yourself there. I don’t know if any one position moves the needle, but if she continues to stake out some more moderate positions she will give some independents and a few Republicans permission to vote for her, given that Trump is the alternative. Frankly from a campaigning perspective, so far, she has done much better than I would have expected.

Not a fan of dumb money on things that don’t work. The best way to stop boarder [sic ] crossings is to encourage US and Mexico companies to build factories and create jobs throughout LatAm (mostly Mexico) and develop a NA free trade zone to ween Americans off of China crap. Second part of plan is to develop satellite campuses of major universities up and down LatAm. Third is to push democratic principals through LatAm. This is a 50 year to 100 year project.

Wasn’t the wall rushed through and built by Trump cronies? I think you’re being quite generous giving him a pass (as usual). With the way it was done it was inevitably going to fail, I remember people pointing out some of the crazy environmental and flooding/water management issues as it was being built (things that subverted normal environmental and engineering review). Like… people were saying it was going to fail from the get go. It’s nothing at all like the challenger disaster which was more of an institutional NASA problem, if looking specifically at the “O-ring” which caused that disaster that was a known issue that pre-dated the Reagan administration. Maybe the Reagan admin deserved some blame for not fixing it, maybe the admin applied some political pressure to send those teachers up there in a situation with higher than usual risk, but most people would still view it all as a tragic accident. The wall was more like a fraud/scam from the word go.
Do you have any links to prove that Trump oversaw any of the engineering of the sections that collapsed? Or that his “cronies” built it? Even that doesn’t prove he had anything to do with the design and implementation. Maybe I should have used an example like Biden being responsible for the SS failures that allowed an assassin to get shots off at Trump. (FTR I don’t think Biden does bear any in that issue). I may seem like I’m giving a pass but I prefer some PROOF before I level blame for something like that.

Was Reagan POTUS when the Space Shuttle was designed? And how many years and successful missions before the Challenger disaster? How many after? Trump's wall was a centerpiece of his campaign. As POTUS, several companies bid to build the wall. The fact the wall failed within months was a failure of many. As for the ER, too many use it for primary care. And how many patients end up in the ER that could've avoided it with some prior, preventative care they didn't get because of cost?
