Them's fighting words!

 

I’m not worried about their rbs. I’m interested in their oline vs our dline. Handle it upfront and that’ll take care of those rb’s.

 

Miami was 7-6 last season. 3-5 in the ACC. 2-3 on the road.
They played FSU close, and gifted GT with last minute win.
Other than QB, has there been a massive influx of talent?
This is an extremely ‘loseable’ game for UF. But I’m failing to see the national narrative. I get that UF wasn’t great either. But UF probably has the same or better record with that schedule. There has been a massive addition of talent in key places for Florida. And it’s at home.

 

Reminiscent of days gone by when we began every season playing Miamuh and ending with halfassU.

 

Wish we opened with Miami every year, those were the days. I know it's a bad idea, but man that rocked.

 

We were there. Great win. Great time. Three-day hangover.

 

I miss Auburn. Really miss.

 

Zero clue how either team will be too many changes on UF to know really. Very glad Mertz is back however.

Glad I will be there and glad it’s in the Swamp.

It seems not everyone is sold on the Canes quite yet.

Florida won the last meeting 24-20 in 2019, and Miami has played twice at The Swamp this century – with a 1-1 record. The Hurricanes are the slight favorite with a backfield that features Washington State transfer quarterback Cam Ward and Oregon State transfer running back Damien Martinez. The Gators are in a pivotal season with Billy Napier, and quarterback Graham Mertz played well the back half of last season. This could be the best game of the day. Remember when Florida beat Utah in the 2022 opener at The Swamp? Same situation here.

I have no game insights or anything of actual value to add….i just want to state that I hate Miami, can’t stand their fans, and living in south Florida I want this win badly.
