I don’t believe this is accurate. A very sizable chunk of votes for the Democrat presidential candidate, whoever it is, is due to a seething hatred of trump and all that he stands for. If he would drop out there would be a great happiness and serenity upon the land. A lot of normal Republicans would also feel good about switching their vote back to the new Republican candidate.
I agree. But people would totally pile on the "hypocritical" pubs for only bailing on Trump because of polls.(And probably accurately). Politics is rarely noble.

Political debates often turn into fiascos and the muted mic is almost a necessity to maintain any order. Not sure why Harris has a problem with it because it would be Trump speaking over her all night anyway. The bottomline is the Dems don’t trust Kamala on the debate stage and that is for the same reason Harris has not had press conferences or held interviews with the press since she became the nominee. She is a terrible speaker when in unscripted situations and she could easily pull a Joe Biden and give Trump a boost he sorely needs.
It is interesting that Harris hasn’t had one Q&A since announcing. Dems are keeping her very controlled. Off topic has Biden done any Q & A lately.

Not sure what you fail to understand but according to all reports, the Harris campaign wants an open mic for the upcoming debate and further reports are now saying she wants written notes also. Whether those reports are true, we’ll see, but that is what is being widely reported by the media. We can only assume Harris is having flashbacks to her performance in the 2020 Democratic Debates and doesn’t want a repeat performance of that disaster (I’m sure you remember that Jojo). And yes the Dems (Schumer, Pelosi, etc) are the reason Biden got pushed aside and Harris was handed the nomination. And obviously they are very much involved in the Harris campaign and I’m sure are pulling a lot of strings. All clear now, Jojo?
Chicken Kamala wants the questions before the debate. It has been reported on multiple sites. If ABC goes along with this farce, Trump should just kill the ABC debate and the NBC debate too if that is the ask, be very public about and embarrass Kamala to the core. Bawk, bawk, bawk, bawk, bawk. 5 1/2 weeks and not one press conference, shameful. The American people aren't dumb. They know Kamala can't stand up to close examination.

That's why Harris wants hot mics ... because Trump yells dumb shit while it's the other person's turn and he won't be able to help himself from looking like a woman bullying a-hole when it's her time.
