While this is a month old the profile of Harris's donors is most likely unchanged Small dollar donors give 46.7 million to back Kamala Harris ActBlue-says
Imagine spending your hard earned money to get a candidate you prefer elected vs. sending it into a convicted felon under the guise of getting him elected and instead having it pay his legal bills. An alleged billionaire, no less.
Won't speak for rick, but time after time folks have referred to asylum seekers as "illegals." It's gross.
Allow me to revise my previous statement. Some folks can't help but refer to asylum seekers or brown people in general as "illegals." Feel free to parse out which are which.
Not sure there is anything exciting about all the money being wasted on political campaigns at all the different levels throughout this country. All those millions and millions of dollars could be much better spent than trying to convince us either Trump or Harris are qualified choices to run this country. But hey, if blowing millions of dollars gets you excited, have at it.
Fair points. But you DO have to admit that it's become pretty exciting to see that there's now a dramatically lower chance that we'll be electing a rapist, traitor felon to the White House.
What do you think would be done with people who are here illegally? Not talking asylum seekers(if they came though the proper process they are here legally). Talking about people who overstay visas or come across illegally regardless of skin color.
Agree that the $ from donors allocated to these campaigns is STUPID. And candidates are required certain benchmarks of donor funds to become eligible in certain elections. Like you said, so many better uses for those funds. If only . . .
Honestly I can’t imagine ever sending a dime to any candidate for anything. Plenty of deep pockets funding both sides. That won’t stop and they don’t give a crap about little donors. Rather give my money to a local group that helps the homeless, orphans or people trying to stay in their houses/apartments.
I don't know and frankly, I don't give a shit. Immigration is not an issue of concern for me. It wasn't when I lived in Florida, either. I taught in Ruskin, a migrant community. I taught thousands of immigrant students, a very small % who were probably there illegally. Fear and concern over that is reserved for the folks who like to complain about "illegals."
