a 53 and a 59 freaking yard fg after they managed to get a second added back before half.

Heck that's about as good as the lucky football gods can line up for you and yet they were still manhandled. A few turnovers by FSU or heaven forbid a fairly called game where at least 5 penalties o against FSU A missed fg or two and this game would have been a 14 point win for Tech. From what I saw and with all their gifts they are a pretty awful team early on.

 

Nothing like listening to a first class Putz.

I’m not sure SOS is one of those things we have to worry about this season. Enjoy the SWAC loss fully.

 

I think I missed something - who was booing Herbstreit and why?

 

The SWAC fans. Everytime he spoke. I think it had something to do with him agreeing that SWAC should be left out of the playoffs last season or something like that.

 

As much as I hate to say it, Jordan Travis was a great college player.

I think it was during College Gameday, not the game itself. And if you missed that, then you missed a LOT of references to SWAC’s last “undefeated” season, having gone “13-0” last year, or on a current “long winning streak.” Absolutely no qualifiers. The 63-3 (or whatever the score was) beatdown the Crims suffered in the Orange Bowl simply never happened. I have not seen any kind of collective amnesia like it in my life.

 

I’ve checked out on Gameday over the past year or so. Partly because it’s all been pretty depressing of late - but also because there aren’t many talking heads I respect anymore. But I see I’ve missed some interesting material. Depending upon how our season goes this year I may have the desire to tune back in for some laughs
