I don't think many here understand this. Biden won the popular vote by 4.5% and it came down to 125,469 votes separating Biden and Trump in GA, PA, WI and AZ. 125,469 votes was less than 0.1% of the total popular vote. In theory, Biden could have won the popular vote by 4.4% and still lost the election. Add in the 2 to 3 point polling bias towards Dems and you can see that Harris probably needs to be up by at least 6 points nationally in polling to feel comfortable about a legit chance to win.

You actually raise a valid point although I'm not sure that it's a positive for the candidate that you're obviously supporting. And as I previously mentioned the Harris campaign has a much larger ground game in the swing states than does the Trump campaign which actually has a smaller ground game than it did in 2020 and 2016. Volunteers and paid staff knocking on doors and making telephone calls do make a difference. In an election in which the margin could be one percent in those states the ground game can make the difference between winning and losing.
    Some examples:
Harris ground game in Wisconsin: 42,000 new volunteers, 600,000 doors
Harris campaign touts thousands of new volunteers as both sides ramp up ground game in Pennsylvania
Volunteers hitting ground running ahead of North Carolina elections
"Just seeing the momentum and drive, there's young people, the women and coming out even older people and even Republicans," says Amita Gupta.

Trump's Ground Operation Is Failing to Launch | Washington Monthly
Obviously anecdotal the best ground game in a presidential election that I personally experienced was the Obama campaign in 2008 back when Virginia was still considered a swing state. In September and even more so in October of that year we were visited by canvassers multiple times and received multiple phone calls from real people (not the usual robocalls used in political campaigns). Bush carried Virginia by eight percent in both 2000 and 2004; Obama carried the state by over six percent in 2008.

Ironic that after claiming for years to have been the sole reason Kemp was initially elected in 2018, Trump now desperately needs Kemp to barely hang on to a state in which he should organically have a 5 to 7 point lead.

Kind of interesting that only a few weeks Trump was bashing Brian Kemp because he's still butt hurt that Kemp and Brad Raffensperger refused to go along with his big lie and said that the presidential election in Georgia was free and fair. In the last week with Georgia in play again Trump has done a complete 180 and is now praising Kemp.

After the Dems managed to flip Georgia for the second (third counting the Senatorial midterm in 2022) time in a row I wonder if Trump will try the same stunt that he tried last time and whether Kemp and Raffensperger will go along with it this time. I doubt it considering that Trump backed their opponents in the Republican primary when they ran for reelection in 2022.

Trump, to his credit, is “bending the knee” to a lot of folks he probably would not have 8 years ago. Vance, Haley, RFK. And of course Kamala need not bend her knee to anyone, because everything is handed to her.

Your post should be rephrased to say that Vance, Haley and RFK, Jr are now bending their knees to Trump. All of them using very strong language have said that Trump was unfit for the presidency. They are now groveling before the Dear Leader. In the case of Haley and Vance it was to remain viable within the Republican Party which has devolved from a normal center-right political party into a cult focused around the worship of Donald Trump. In the case of RFK, Jr. he has joined in the veneration of Donald Trump because he is motivated by vengeance after being dismissed by the Democrats.

Or RFK Jr thinks the Dems are FOS.

He felt Biden should have had to run through primaries and was stymied in that regard.

Doesn’t seem like he’s been a Biden guy for a while, I guess he knew Biden had lost it.

Eh I don’t know she pretty much was into the older guys back then also. Seems the more money and power the more she was good to go.

Often it’s the way of the world.

Good chance she would have to be “good to go” within minutes as he attacked Jean Carroll very shortly after meeting. Which of course he literally brags about doing as his routine- “I just grab him by the p… “. And “I don’t wait….”

and no, the “she must have bent a knee a lot“ is more of a stereotypical misogynistic attack against women who are successful and really isn’t “the way of the world”. Women can be and are successful on job merit.

Certainly women can and are very successful at their jobs irrespective of using sexual power. But to ignore the fact that many women use it for security, money etc is silly.

The term gold digger isn’t one because women are always hard working and altruistic.

Not sure the mere existence of a term (gold digger) proves it should be applied to successful women. Epithets don’t work like that. Agree some women can and do use their “sexual power” to get stuff. but to imply women have sex to achieve success is “the way of the world” just isn’t accurate. Women can and are extremely effective in the workplace and yes, many even outperform men. women in their jobs get promotions, they are doctors, executives, cops, clergy people, lawyers, etc and can be very successful without having sex to get that success.

Way to go, Neanderthals -- reinforcing sterotypes about professional women.

First, the facts: the EEOC estimates that between 54 and 81% of all American working women face some form of UNWANTED sexual harassment in the workplace. That's our mothers, wives, sisters and daughters who have gone to work and then experienced some crap at the hands of co-workers or bosses.. Ever tried asking the women in your lives about this?

Next, it is generally accepted that women like Harris who've attained great success have reached goals by working harder, behaving better, and possessing superior communication and networking skills.

Finally, there is zero proof that Kamala Harris advanced career-wise as you suggest. These nod nod wink wink ramblings means posters are insincere. By all means, discuss Harris's qualifications or policy positions, but leave the "slept her way to the top" innuendo out of it. Makes you look like douchebags
