Intelligent, certainly - she studied chemistry at Oxford. Very interested in science. She was considered strong, certainly, in that she broke new ground in the UK. Some would say she was 'uncompromising' but many regard her as one of the most authoritarian leaders we have ever had. What specifically do you like about her beyond those traits you listed?
Exactly what MSNBC and CNN did when covering RNC. Guess you were ok with that. At least Fox went to DNC. MSNBC stayed in New York during RNC and tried to make it look like they were in Milwaukee.
Yeah, not sure where the obsession with her taking questions comes from, but the DNC just finished and now that she’s had time to sit down and put together strategy for her campaign, she will start answering questions. Trump “answers” questions all the time, but they’re all lies. I mean, she can do that, too. Not impressed by Trump’s question answering.
I doubt she’ll convince you to vote for her. Just do us a favor and stay home or write in Steve Spurrier.
Just came by to read maga comments after Harris seriously disrupted their fantasies by having a great speech. The Hill listed her and the DNC organizers as two of the big winners. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4843601-kamala-harris-democratic-convention/ Kamala Harris Harris gave one of the more stirring convention addresses of recent years, helped along by a wildly enthusiastic crowd. Interest in her speech — and in the convention writ large — was heightened because of the sheer human drama by which she became the nominee.
Honestly what do you expect the media to say? Go back and watch addresses from Reagan or Clinton from the 80’s and 90’s. Make current politicians look like a 2nd grader taking a speech class.
I think the effective strategy of the DNC was to position the threat as Trump with few, if any, attacks on conservatives broadly while positioning the Republican Party as having lost its way following Trump and not a cabal of evil people. You noticed that in the language of attacks at Trump specifically and to some extent his enablers and other billionaires - but that is why his name was mentioned so many times. Kept the attack away from the American people with different opinions and kept the mood and message upbeat, optimistic, and on the future. Compare that to the RNC which was a tirade against liberals - a dystopian view of the county, the world, their neighbors, and of Americans in general that aren't in the cult.
What an insane take. This DNC was packed with amazing speeches from beginning to end. There is no comparison of oratory skills demonstrated in the two conventions and I watched both. It's hard to build emotional connection to people organized around praising a severely flawed demigod. The DNC stayed on a real message which provided the material for great speech after great speech. Harris' full speech: Full Transcript of Kamala Harris’s Democratic Convention Speech
Well, since I used and quoted an unbiased source, I expect them to say what happened. Sorry it didn't go the way you wanted.
I haven’t watched every convention every year but watched both this year and the DNC this year was the best i can remember. Was much more than a bunch of boring guys in boring suits giving boring speeches. Whoever produced it did a wonderful job. Hope her campaign is run as intelligently.
One of the greatest con jobs in this great country’s now almost 250 year history is Donald Trump narcissistically convincing nearly half of it that he’s “strong”
There is no such thing as an unbiased source. There is no such thing as an unbiased person. Everyone and everything has bias.
Very convenient way to ignore anything that doesn't align with your views. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
"...yeah, sure, brilliant, strong, the perfect ally at the height of the cold war to complement the holy trinity along with Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II when the USSR was still growing and spreading communism like metastatisizing cancer..." "...besides those Itty bitty nuancy thingy's...what was there to like about her?"
That’s rich coming from the left. I’m the one that ignores anything that doesn’t align with their views?
