The country is way better off now than when Trump was president. Millions more jobs, real wages higher, 401Ks higher, our standing in the world higher... And as a bonus we don't have to worry about a president who will instigate a mob of goons to desecrate our Capitol with shit and piss.
Considering you started a thread claiming Taylor Swift donated to Hamas I'm not sure your ability to discern the truth is something I trust.
I'm intrigued why women would gravitate towards Mr Trump given his recent words. Especially after this week and this article - I also watched the interview. One wouldn't have to be Hercule Poirot to understand what he was implying... The former president told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham in an interview, part of which aired on Tuesday night, that the vice-president’s appearance means other leaders will “walk all over her”. “She’ll be like a play toy,” he said. “They look at her and they say, ‘We can’t believe we got so lucky.’ They’re going to walk all over her.” Trump wouldn’t spell out what exactly he meant, adding: “And I don’t want to say as to why. But a lot of people understand it.”
Damn, after watching last night you would have thought Tim Walz (who coached for seven years as an assistant and left his first stint due to a DUI charge) is in the same class with Vince Lombardi, Bill Belichik and Nick Saban. Good for him, I guess, to be an assistant football coach for a few seasons but bringing out a bunch of middle-aged guys he coached 25 years ago was a bit much.
Yeah, clearly the point of all of that is to convince everybody that he was a genius football coach, not to show people how he made a positive impact on a lot of people's lives.
I came away convinced he knows ball enough to handle the Super Bowl/CFP winners coming by the White House and not make a cringy gaffe
WHEN the United States elects a woman President it should be someone as intelligent and strong as Margret Thatcher.
Since you think the prez can snap their fingers and fix gas/grocery prices, why are they high in other developed nations too?
I think I've mentioned before but when searching Google on what it takes to be a poll worker, spelling "poll" incorrectly brings up alarming results.
To be clear, Thatcher was indeed intelligent and strong. However, if we wanted to mine sexist arguments to minimize her accomplishments, it's also true that Thatcher married a rich man whom she noted was not very good looking. According to one biographer, their daughter characterized her parents' marriage as being more of a partnership of convenience than a romance.
They gotta be willing to go to war over tiny islands who's main resource is sheep, that's what you want in a president
They’re already trying to say that he lied about his wife’s IVF treatment as well after she revealed that she had IUI and not IVF, lol. He never said she had IVF but moreover treatments “like IVF”, which IUI falls under. They’re desperately grasping for anything to use against the guy because everyone loves him and he is owning their campaign.
We understand how the Pubs are weirdly overconcerned with what women do with their own bodies but comments on fertility issues for someone to have a family are disturbing in a whole different way.
It’s definitely not the gotcha moment they think it is. First off, most people have never heard of IUI, hence the “like IVF” because it’s a similar process and falls under the same category. And second, the whole point of the story is that the right would be trying to eliminate any treatment that falls under the IVF tree, so the point still stands. The straws they are grasping at are pathetic.
