Yeah, no. All of these things were issues for Walz before he was ever thought of as a VP candidate. Sadly, he continued lying after the fact. Just like he lied about his DUI and blamed the cop for it, driving 41 mph over the limit while intoxicated. Walz is a loser.
Walz (the cowardly lion) will never admit he’s a pathetic liar. It is not in his character. Shoot, this entire episode of the DNC lying about Biden’s mental capabilities, dumping Biden after he won the DNC’s primaries, then installing the scarecrow as their nominee ….. clearly highlights the fact the democrat leadership and followers suffer the same moral and ethical deficiency. What’s really insane, just 2 years ago many on the left were bemoaning the scarecrow’s failures and discussing the need to have her replaced as the VP candidate if/when Biden ran in 2024. Now, magically, she’s the best thing since “fresh straw stuffed into a man’s clothing”. This would be really funny if it wasn’t so sad and bad for our nation.
It was being openly talked about by Dems as recent as a few months ago. I think the powers that be in the DNC get their rocks off by seeing how badly they can dupe their base.
Whatever. We get it. You like Trump and don’t like Democrats. Doesn’t mean you need to make up ridiculous charges and lies to smear the opponent. You don’t want to watch the video - of a former Republican veteran and congressman who served in combat in 2 wars who has a pretty good understanding of the situation. That’s fine, but don’t waste everybody’s time pushing partisan MAGA bullshit and then engage in fake arguments.
Did Walz' battalion smear him too? Have you read the letter? Penned years ago. Long before we ever heard the name Tim Walz.
I have no particular illusions as to what sort of President she will be. I just don’t know. She probably wouldn’t make my top 20 list of candidates. There may be a few Republicans I’d pick over her. But she’s running against Trump, so she is fabulous by comparison.
Said it before, they're Republicans first. If they were really concerned with honor there is no way that they would be supporting the candidate at the top of their own ticket, the guy who used his father's influence to avoid service altogether and demeaned veterans, refused to visit a military cemetery and even made a joke about his avoidance of service ("avoiding STDs was my personal Vietnam"). Let's face it MAGA nation is really pissed off that Kamala Harris has grown significantly as a candidate. They were hoping that their Orange God would be running against a cognitively diminished Joe Biden and that if he should withdraw the Democratic Party would be in chaos. Didn't happen. By the way I remember when the Democrats were hoping that Ronald Reagan would be the Republican nominee. They assumed that they could win by painting him as a former actor unqualified for the presidency. Didn't work out that way. Once again be careful what you wish far. Trump is running against Kamala Harris and the election is not the slam dunk the defeated former president and his supporters hoped that it would be.
It seems like Trump's campaign can best described as Donald Trump brings back Willie Horton and the Swifties (and I'm not referring to the fans of a certain singer). Not going to work. Kamala Harris isn't Michael Dukakis (As DA and AG, she was responsible for putting dozens if not hundreds of criminals behind bars) and even with his flaws attacks on Tim Walz's service will have very little effect considering the record of the guy heading the Republican ticket. As my mother used to say "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" and the House of the Donald is built with glass that can be easily shattered.
Walz's DUI is going to torpedo the Democrat's ticket the way that George W. Bush's 1974 DUI hurt his presidential campaign. They only voters who really think Walz's DUI and his one misleading statement implying that he participated in a war or that he applied to retired from the National Guard around a year before his unit received orders to deploy to Iraq should disqualify the Democratic ticket are voters who would never cast a vote for the Harris/Walz ticket in the first place.
At least the fourth time that I've said it supporting the draft dodger who used his father's influence to secure a deferment based on bone spurs, the same draft dodger who has demeaned veterans is much more of slap in the face of veterans than anything that Tim Walz may have done.
I’m tolerant of opposing ideas. I believe in free speech. It’s okay that you want the United States to change its name to North Cuba. You would have made Castro proud. But that doesn’t mean I have to agree with you. Fair?
Plus, two of the signers of that letter are Ronny Jackson, who stills lists admiral on his bio even though he was busted in rank, and Troy Nehls who wore a combat ribbon he didn’t deserve. In addition, you have Tom Cotton, who claimed to be an Army Ranger and Rick Scott who served a grand total of 29 months in the Navy
