Assuming RFK Jr. drops out and endorses Trump, the big question becomes what percentage of RFK followers fall in line? RFK has been seeing dropping support because many double haters who didn't like Trump nor Biden find Harris acceptable. Remaining double haters voting 3rd party may be less likely to vote either R or D even with RFK is out of the race. They may be anyone but establishment voters?

For some real data, On RCP Trump nets 0.1% more support in their polling averages when Kennedy is excluded… doesn’t seem like a difference maker.

He's not. The "I don't want Trump or Biden" voter moved to Harris. He's toast. That's why he went to both campaigns hat in hand for a job.

I don’t think this hurts Kamala at all. The people I know who claimed they were voting for RFK were always going to secretly vote for Trump, and they’re ashamed of themselves for it.

Well that’s what the women I’ve been friend’s with over the years have suggested. I just take their word for it…

He's been a fake Democrat trump stooge from the start.

I mean, for months he was "trying" to be the Democrat president nominee, trying to debate Biden and "primary" him, which is always damaging to an incumbent. Then he runs as an independent,.funded by Republicans, initially taking more votes from Biden than Trump. Then he has the "we are going to win" phone call with Trump. Then asks Trump for a job in the White House when it looked like Trump would win easily. Even before he outright announces he's 100% MAGA on Friday, we all knew it.

I saw a truck with trucknuts and an RFK sticker at the gym yesterday. So Trump will get at least one more vote from this.

I also am in the medical field and sadly have had to see more than a few that weren’t mine over the years, but I won’t get into that….;)

Why RFK Jr.’s Exit From Race Probably Won’t Help Trump Very Much (msn.com)

Forbes with a similar conclusion as what I posted above.... unless the majority of Kennedy's voters are Trumpsters trolling pollsters, the poll number do not suggest Kennedy leaving would affect the election more than a couple tenths towards Trump. Whatever Kennedy has left are probably die hard 3rd party voters looking to make a statement, not likely to swing to Trump, IMO. If they are single issue hardcore anti-vaxers, why would they swing to the guy that "warp speeded" the vaccine? I guess we'll find out with the polling soon enough.

Probably not that long back. But Trumpism is attractive to a certain sort of person that has been rejected by the people they want desperately to accept them because of their own buffoon-like nature (heck, that is Trump himself). That is RFK Jr. His ridiculousness on vaccines got him largely rejected by the society from which he wants approval.
