Maybe Trump is so unhinged because he suffers from sleep deprivation, one indicator being a tendency to "nod off". By the way Biden's speech seemed much more coherent than Trump's acceptance speech. Maybe sleep deprivation is part of the explanation.
Two questions to ask on all democratic claims and promises: You've had 4 years, why haven't you fixed it already? Since you haven't fixed it in 4 years, why should we trust you with 4 more years to fix it? Be prepared for lies and distortions as that is the theme of the DNC and democratic voters.
Some promises were kept, some were not. Biden Promise Tracker | PolitiFact for comparison Trump-O-Meter : Tracking Trump's Campaign Promises | PolitiFact Actually, please start a new thread on this. It's worthy of one and there's plenty to talk about the campaign without it. If you do, I'll delete these Thanks
Trump also had four years and didn’t fix it, and in fact, made it much worse. And don’t even get us started on the myriad of broken promises he made. Way too many to keep count of.
More importantly Trump had 2 years when the GOP controlled everything. House, senate, presidency and courts. They only passed tax cuts for rich people. NOTHING on the border. They are total rubes to think it would be any different next time.
The majority of Trump supporters, poor rural families, apparently love to get screwed in the rear by this dude. His ability to allow them to be a bigot out in the open must really be worth it to them.
Don't know if this is an act, but I am sure you get the joke & it is not racist. Dems have been beating the drum for a long time that requiring a voter ID would be racist. It's a riff on that. no need imo for the racist label.
I recall arguments regarding people who are disproportionately affected by the need for ID, esp. minorities and people who face economic challenges; the comment I called into question was more specific .
I'm going to assume that it is a poke at Dems who have stated that IDs are/can be hard to come by for minorities - disadvantaged people. That can be so. If I need a NC driver's license it requires me to drive to another county ~ 25 miles away and hope that the line is reasonable. Transportation would be a problem for some.
