Hers is a tragic story of abuse. Major credit goes to her for overcoming it and helping others to overcome.
Steve Kerr crushes it. Kerr said that as “a coach and a former player, as a husband, a son, a father, even a grandfather, and as an American, I believe in a certain kind of leadership.” “I believe leaders must display dignity. I believe that leaders must tell the truth,” Kerr explained. “I believe that leaders must care for and love the people that they are leading. “If you look for those qualities in your friends or a boss or an employee or your child’s teacher or your mayor, then shouldn’t you want those same qualities in your president?”
What a really good first night. Extremely positive and emotional. My one word summary: Steve Kerr - Phenomenal AOC - Relatable Hillary - Encouraging Jamie Raskin - Pointed Andy Beshear - Meaningful Warlock - Awe-inspiring Jill and Ashley Biden - Loving Joe Biden - Historic
An amazing night indeed… Steve Kerr - decent behind the arc AOC - barely doable Hillary - nasty Jamie Raskin - disgusting Andy Beshear - bland Warlock - male witch Jill and Ashley Biden - blah and meh Joe Biden - embarrassing
The thing that struck me the most about Biden's speech, according to the closed captions, was when he said "we're building a better American disaster." I don't know what he meant, but I wouldn't brag about it. And I was surprised when he said "I come from Beijing, middle-class family." Is he now trying to claim Asian identity? He also made a reference in the speech to "vaginal wisdom." I won't try to interpret that.
